Mostly Moss...

F/22 @ 1/3 with an ISO 200, shot with a 55 mm macro lens and natural light.

I shot this using my 55 mm macro lens, and the use of some natural moss I have growing in a flower pot at home. Now that I know about photo stacking, I am thinking of shooting it again.

Dolphin Delight

F/32 @ 1/3, ISO 200 with a 55 mm macro lens at 1:2

. I used 2-750 hot lights and 2 panels for lighting.

This was a subject that I choice to shoot as my choice for the week in macro. It is a glass paper weight with the dolphins etched inside the glass. I have added the whole piece below.

As you can see, the top shot is a portion of the larger image.

Spanish Moss

This was photographed at f/32 @ 4 seconds with an ISO 200 with a 105mm macro lens.

I photographed this spanish moss in the studio at school with 2- 750 hot lights, a fill card and a diffuser. The spanish moss was shot at a 1:1 ratio.

Dragon Bones...

We were shooting more macro this week and I chose to photograph this dragon statue that I own. It was shot in the studio with 2- 750 hot lights, a fill card, and a scrim.

Cherry Cream Cheese Danish...

This was shot at F/6.3 @ 1/125 with an ISO of 200 and a 48mm lens. This is shot in window lighting.

This shot I did when I was practicing with food. I really like how it came together and the touch of red.

What the Shell?

 

The photo was taken at F/45 @1/15 with an ISO of 200 and a 105mm macro lens. I used 2-750 (hot lights) for my lighting.


 I shot this shell for my macro class for an assignment. We have just started with macro and so far, I love what I am seeing. There is more challenge with the movement of the camera than anything else so far. 

Rosco.... What a handsome fella

Photo was shot at f/ 5.6 @ 1/160 with an ISO of 200 at 55m.

This is Rosco, he is a full blooded pit bull  male with such a loving spirit. He belongs to a great friend of mine and is looking forward to being a daddy. Rosco will be bred with another full blooded pit named Abigale, so hopefully it won't be long before they have puppies!
