This photo was shot at Jordan Lake while out on a photo safari with my friend, Belinda Eldridge.

Colors...

I shot these jelly beans using a photo stacking method for a class assignment. I really love the details and how beautiful the colors are. I had 19 images in this stack and this is my final result.

It's a Loofah!

F/32 @ 1 sec. ISO 200, 55 mm macro lens, and 1:1 ratio.
This was taken for my macro class and I never knew until today where a loofah really comes from. They actually come from gourds. They are harvested and dried out to make loofahs to make our baths more enjoyable. I used a 750 hot light and 1 mini light to get this shot.

This was the set up that I used for both the bark and the loofah except I didn't use the scrim with the loofah shot.

Beautiful Bark...

F/16 @ 8 secs. with an ISO of 200, 1:1 ratio and a 55 mm macro lens.
I shot this for my macro class assignment using my 55 mm lens and 1:1 ratio. The detail stands out so much when shooting at that close of a range. I used 1-750 hot light, 1 mini and a scrim.

Mostly Moss...

F/22 @ 1/3 with an ISO 200, shot with a 55 mm macro lens and natural light.
I shot this using my 55 mm macro lens, and the use of some natural moss I have growing in a flower pot at home. Now that I know about photo stacking, I am thinking of shooting it again.

Dolphin Delight

F/32 @ 1/3, ISO 200 with a 55 mm macro lens at 1:2. I used 2-750 hot lights and 2 panels for lighting.
This was a subject that I choice to shoot as my choice for the week in macro. It is a glass paper weight with the dolphins etched inside the glass. I have added the whole piece below.

As you can see, the top shot is a portion of the larger image.
